Michal writes on June 30th, 2003:

I resigned from IBA earlier than expected just a short while ago.
I got a part-time job of consulting to the Israeli JIC on the next
Establishment Survey.
For the time being, I try to enjoy the freedom after about 30 years of work,
I spent some time in London last month, and now I enjoy being at home.

I am writing to inform you that due to an attractive retirement arrangement I have decided to leave my position earlier than I had planned.I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your friendship, cooperation, and most of all for the wealth of information I have gained through associating with you; indeed, it is with regret that I shall have to withdraw from GEAR, but the pleasant memories and informative times we have spent together will sustain me in any individual future endeavors.
I wish you all continued success in your careers, and for GEAR in all its future conferences.I have no idea who will succeed me at the IBA, but I hope you will be informed by our management.  I am leaving at the end of this month (which means tomorrow…).

Warmly

Michal
